Connecticut Society Names Annual Congressional Event in Honor of Senator Dodd

At the Society's 21st annual Congressional Reception on February 2, Society President Brian Mahar announced that the event will now by known as the Senator Christopher J. Dodd Congressional Reception in honor of Connecticut's longest-serving U.S. Senator.

Nearly 200 people joined the Connecticut Society as Senator Dodd reflected on his three decades of serving Connecticut in the U.S. Congress and Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, Congressman Joe Courtney, Congressman Chris Murphy, and Congressman Jim Himes shared their stories about the impact Senator Dodd had on their lives in public service.

2009 Holiday Reception a Big Success

Over 100 members enjoyed our annual Holiday Reception on December 1 at Clyde's Gallery Place. We hope everyone had fun and has a very happy holiday season and safe travels for all those visiting family in Connecticut (and around the country).
