This group of diverse Washington professionals are responsible for the
direction and management of the Society, and oversee it's funds, bylaws,
and policies.
Brian Mahar is the President of the Connecticut Society. He is a native of Wethersfield and an Account Executive at Tigercomm. Robert Barbuto, a native of Wallingford, is a Vice President and Financial Consultant at Merrill Lynch. Holly Canevari, the Board's Treasurer, is from Stratford and works for the House Homeland Security Committee. Jennifer Diggins, is the immediate past President of the Connecticut Society. Jennifer attended Eastern Connecticut State University as an undergraduate student and works for the American Iron and Steel Institute. Neil McKiernan serves as Vice President for Membership and is a native of West Hartford. He is Legislative Director for Congressman Joe Courtney. Scott Morris, Vice President for Communications, is a native of Stamford. He is the Manager of State League Programs at the National League of Cities. John Seggerman, the Board’s Vice President for Corporate Affairs, hails from Fairfield and is a realtor with Weichert. Elizabeth Muro, the Board’s Vice President for the Nutmeg Club, worked for Connecticut's First District Congressman before joining Fleishman Hillard. Michael McKiernan, the Board’s Vice President for University Relations, is from West Hartford and works for Senator Chris Dodd. Brendan Lawlor is from Glastonbury and is
a contractor working at the U.S. Department of Justice.
